AgentforceSense, answered
The questions every team asks before pointing a data quality scanner at the org their AI agents depend on — product, privacy, and how fast you can see your first scores.

What is AgentforceSense?
AgentforceSense is a Salesforce-native data quality app for teams deploying Agentforce. It scans the objects and fields your AI agents read, scores them on six metrics — completeness, consistency, validity, timeliness, uniqueness, and PII exposure — and shows exactly which records would make an agent answer vaguely, contradict itself, or surface sensitive data.
Is AgentforceSense the same as Data Quality Sense?
Yes — AgentforceSense is the Agentforce-focused offering of Data Quality Sense (DQS), the same Salesforce app under a positioning built for AI-agent readiness. You install one package, and there is one product to learn. The DQS name is what you’ll see on the AppExchange listing and inside the app.
Does AgentforceSense send my Salesforce data anywhere?
No. Every scan runs on-platform as Batch Apex inside your own org. No records, fields, or findings are exported to an outside service — results live in Salesforce objects you control, and the only thing that ever leaves is the CSV you choose to download yourself.
What exactly does it measure?
Six data quality dimensions, each as a rate per object: Completeness (are key fields populated?), Consistency (do values follow one standard?), Validity (do structured fields pass format rules?), Timeliness (are records current?), Uniqueness (how many duplicates?), and PII Exposure (is sensitive data hiding in free text?). The six metrics and their launch targets are explained on the Agentforce data quality page.
How does PII detection work?
Pattern-based detection with 8 predefined regex patterns: SSN, credit card, IBAN, email, US phone, international phone, IP address, and date of birth. Three presets (Standard, Critical, Extended) configure which patterns are active in one click, and you can add custom regex patterns of your own. Detection is transparent — you see every pattern that ran and every record that matched.
Do I need to have Agentforce before using it?
No — and before is the best time. AgentforceSense scans regular Salesforce objects, so you can baseline and clean your data months ahead of an Agentforce purchase or rollout. Orgs already live with agents use the same scans for monitoring instead.
How is this different from duplicate-management or validation-rule tools?
Those tools enforce quality on new records, one rule at a time. AgentforceSense measures the data you already have — across all six dimensions at once, scored per object, with drill-down to failing records. The two approaches are complementary: scan to find and prioritize the debt, then add rules so it doesn’t come back.
How long does it take to get started?
About 15 minutes to a first scan. Install the package, open the no-code Definition Builder, pick the objects and fields your agents will read, set thresholds, and activate. The Mentor Panel then ranks what to fix first, so the first scan turns directly into a cleanup plan.
What does a demo look like?
A 15-minute walkthrough on your own org — not a slide deck. You see your actual data readiness scores and leave with the top three things to fix before Agentforce goes live. Book it on the demo page.
Where can I go deeper?
Start with the readiness playbook for the phase-by-phase plan, the launch checklist for the countdown version, and the benchmarks for the numbers behind go-live sign-off. Long-form guides live in the Data Quality Sense resource library ↗.
A question we didn’t answer?
Bring it to the demo — 15 minutes, on your own org, no slide deck.
